Opportunity for a Technical Sales Professional
Join a world-leading instrument vendor's technical sales team, operating from a state-of-the-art facility in the golden triangle. The company provides industry-leading analytical instruments to scientific organizations globally.
As a Business Development Executive, your responsibilities include:
1. Managing the full sales lifecycle for HPLC and GC-MS systems within academic, pharmaceutical, and research sectors.
2. Engaging with clients to understand their requirements and analytical challenges.
3. Conducting technical discussions and advising on suitable products and solutions.
4. Participating in instrument demonstrations and negotiations to close sales.
5. Acting as a key interface between in-house teams and customers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
You will also support events and conferences, staying informed about competitor products and applications.
Minimum requirements:
* BSc in Chemistry or related field, or equivalent experience.
* UK Driver’s License and right to work in the UK.
* Practical knowledge of HPLC and GC-MS systems.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Resilience and problem-solving abilities.
Enthusiastic scientists with expertise in chromatography or mass spectrometry are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in technical sales is advantageous but not essential if you possess the relevant technical knowledge and motivation to transition into a commercial role.
