Customer Services Team Leader Location: Watford Contract Type: Interim – 3 months Salary: £18.00 - £23.44 per hour PAYE Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same? We’re looking for a Customer Services Team Leader for an organisation based in Watford, to inspire, support and lead the frontline customer services team to success. About the Role As Customer Services Team Leader, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring a responsive, high-quality experience for customers. Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, you'll lead a team of Customer Services Officers and a Receptionist, helping shape a modern, accessible, and digitally enabled service. You'll be a champion for continuous improvement, a problem-solver, and a strong communicator—ready to handle customer queries, develop your team, and contribute to key strategies that shape how communities are supported. What You’ll Be Doing * Leading and motivating a frontline customer service team to exceed service expectations. * Driving service improvements using feedback, data, and innovation. * Supporting the rollout of digital transformation, including self-service solutions. * Acting as a key contact for internal teams and external partners to resolve customer issues. * Managing performance, team development, and ensuring policy and regulatory compliance. * Collaborating with repairs and housing teams to enhance service delivery at first contact. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who is: * Highly customer-focused with strong leadership and coaching skills. * Experienced in managing or supervising in a contact centre or similar environment. * Knowledgeable about housing services, repair diagnostics, and digital service platforms. * Confident in handling complex queries, complaints, and data to drive performance. * Flexible, resilient, and a natural problem-solver who thrives on delivering positive outcomes.
