Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our Finance team in a varied role. The successful candidate will be responsible for core financial administration tasks, including invoice processing, database maintenance, credit control, and expense reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
Raising sales invoices accurately and promptly via multiple internal systems
Maintaining and updating the contractor database, including entering time-sheets and general data monitoring
Reconciling incoming invoices to internal records
Managing credit control on the Sterling Ledger
Producing client reports in line with agreed schedules
Reconciling staff and contractor expenses against internal controlsRequirements
Essential Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a financial administration or finance assistant role
Sound knowledge of accounting systems and financial controls
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills and professional telephone/email manner
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
