About the role
We are seeking a Research Associate to work on the NSPCC Children’s Online Lives Project. This multi-method project will collect, analyse and write up data related to children’s day‑to‑day online experiences, including their exposure to a range of online risks. Duties will include assisting in the preparation of the project ethics submissions and research materials, undertaking qualitative and quantitative research and adhering to appropriate ethical, safeguarding and research governance standards for research.
About you
The successful candidate will have experience of research in Psychology demonstrated by a record of involvement in research/evaluation‑based projects, along with experience of utilising online and offline qualitative and quantitative methodologies, software analysis computer programmes, particularly Qualtrics.
You should also have experience of conducting research on sensitive topics and/or with vulnerable populations, particularly children.
You will need to have a PhD or equivalent, or be near to completion.
