Qualified Accountant - 3‑Month Contract (option to go permenant)Ayrshire | £55,000-£65,000 | Hybrid Considered Your new company A prominent organisation based in Ayrshire is seeking a skilled and motivated Qualified Accountant to join their finance team on a minimum 3‑month contract whilst they recruit for the permenant vacancy in the background (candidates can be considered for this). This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a varied, hands‑on role where you'll provide essential support across the finance function. Working in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment, you'll play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial reporting while contributing to key operational processes. Your new role As the interim Qualified Accountant, you will take ownership of end‑to‑end accounting responsibilities, ensuring the smooth running of core financial activities. Your duties will include: Managing the ledger and overseeing month‑end processes Preparing statutory reports and supporting regulatory requirements Leading and processing payment runs Assisting with wider financial tasks to ensure deadlines and standards are met Providing accurate financial insight to support decision‑making This is a role where you'll be able to immediately add value and support a committed finance team during a busy period. What you'll need to succeed To thrive in this position, you should bring: Full professional accountancy qualification (e.
