£26,000 Pro rota per Annum | Full Time (37.5 hours/week) | Herne Bay, Kent Salt Training Limited is looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Officer to join our team. In this exciting role, you'll build strong employer partnerships, grow our apprenticeship offer, and drive sales of our online professional training programmes. You'll play a key role in meeting ambitious recruitment targets for Skills Bootcamps and adult learning, while managing our CRM system and creating new opportunities for learners and employers. Job Purpose: To drive the growth of Salt Training Limited's apprenticeship and adult learning provision by building strong employer partnerships, delivering on ambitious sales and recruitment targets, and positioning Salt Training Limited as the provider of choice for apprenticeships and professional training in the region. Marketing all of salt training limited's offers including Apprenticeships and Study Programmes.
Specific Duties:· Grow Salt Training Limited's new apprenticeship offer by engaging employers and establishing long-term training partnerships·
Market and Grow the Salt College Study Programme offer, attending events, marketing and school liason.
Sell online professional training programmes through effective business-to-business sales activity· Achieve and exceed contractual recruitment targets for adult programmes, including Skills Bootcamps and advanced learner loan funded courses·
Proactively engage new employers to endorse and support Skills Bootcamp contractual requirements, including the organisation and scheduling of job interviews for learners·
Attend and represent Salt Training Limited at recruitment, careers, and engagement events to promote the full portfolio of training programmes to employers and individuals·
Build, manage, and maintain Salt Training Limited's CRM system and employer engagement trackers, ensuring accurate, up-to-date records of all employer activity and pipeline management·
Create and manage an Apprenticeship Job Shop on Salt Training Limited premises, linking employer apprenticeship vacancies with learners to maximise progression into meaningful employment·
Develop and sustain strong, productive employer relationships to generate new business and repeat opportunities·
Provide information, advice, and guidance (IAG) to employers and learners regarding apprenticeship and training opportunities·
Collaborate with delivery and curriculum teams to ensure a seamless learner and employer journey from recruitment through to programme completion·
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of apprenticeship funding, programme eligibility, and sector trends·
Meet and report on challenging sales and recruitment targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of Salt Training Limited
General Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To organise and participate in staff support & development schemes and to undertake training based on individual and service needs.
2. To take a lead role in creating or to promote a positive, inclusive ethos that challenges discrimination and promotes equality and diversity.
3. To comply with legislative requirements and STL's policies and guidelines in respect to health & safety and data protection.
4. To demonstrate positive personal and professional behaviour as specified in the Staff Code of Conduct.

7. To meet minimum relevant occupational standards.
8. To keep up to date with the skills required to fulfil the role.

10. To be responsible for protecting staff and learners from all preventable harm as per Safeguarding procedures.
11. To complete any assigned role deemed appropriate by Salt Training Limited.
