Full-time Teaching Assistant Role – Starting March 2026
Here at Vision for Education, we are currently recruiting individuals with a background in education, care, or a genuine passion for supporting children in a school environment.
A friendly primary school based in Penarth is looking for a teaching assistant who can embrace the culture and values of the school and support pupils across all key stages, as well as take part in their forest school sessions. No two days are ever the same — you could be supporting pupils in the foundation phase one day and working alongside pupils in upper Key Stage 2 the next. We are therefore seeking adaptable, enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about working with pupils and delivering high-quality outdoor education.
The school is known for appointing individuals on a permanent basis, provided you are the right fit with a positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to being an ambassador for school values.
You will work closely with the class teacher to help provide a high standard of education and engaging outdoor learning opportunities.
The ability to speak Welsh is preferred but not essential for this role.
In return:
9. Outstanding training and development opportunities through Vision, alongside on-the-job training from the school
10. Excellent daily pay of £89 – £105 per day
11. Opportunity to be appointed permanently by the school
12. Monday to Friday role, with weekends and school holidays off
13. Auto-enrolment into company pension scheme and holiday pay
14. Ongoing support and guidance throughout your teaching career
15. One of the UK’s leading education providers and a ‘Sunday Times Best Place to Work 2023, 2024 & 2025
