About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and well‑organised professional with experience in product delivery and technology solutions to fill the role of Product Delivery Lead, supporting our ‘Aurora’ software. Aurora is our in‑house pensions administration platform – servicing our in‑house administrators, clients and members. It is a multi‑faceted software suite, including both internal and external (digital) technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in product‑led, agile or digital delivery environments with strong communication, co‑ordination and planning skills. The role holder will report to the Senior Product Manager and work closely with key stakeholders to manage the delivery of all Aurora product change. Knowledge of pensions administration and pensions products would be a significant advantage given the nature of the business and its customer base.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and manage the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects current priorities, timelines, and dependencies.
* Coordinate backlog management, ensuring user stories and requirements are clearly defined, prioritised, and ready for development.
* Own and optimise Kanban boards and workflow processes to ensure visibility and efficient delivery.
* Support product ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
* Track progress against roadmap commitments and proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies.
* Act as a central coordination point between Product, Development, Design, and key stakeholders.
* Ensure product documentation, decisions, and changes are consistently recorded and accessible.
* Produce regular reporting and insights on delivery performance, throughput, and flow metrics.
* Drive continuous improvement of product processes, tools, and ways of working.
* Support quarterly and annual product planning cycles.
Essential – Your Profile
* Strong understanding of product development processes (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
* Proven ability to manage backlogs, roadmaps, and delivery tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps).
* Excellent organisational and coordination skills with high attention to detail.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present delivery data.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Desirable
* A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
* An understanding of UK pensions arrangements and pensions products.
