University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking applications for the role of Digital Education Content Designer. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the successful implementation of the new digital system, Nervecentre, as part of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) digital transformation program.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality digital content using Course Creation and Learning Management System platforms, ensuring compliance with digital accessibility guidelines. The role involves developing educational materials to help staff effectively utilize new technology, fostering positive attitudes towards digital changes.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Designing and developing interactive digital learning content for clinical systems using Articulate 360.
2. Ensuring content meets digital accessibility standards.
3. Incorporating engaging interactive elements such as simulations and videos.
4. Updating and maintaining existing eLearning materials.
5. Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to develop dynamic training modules.
6. Testing and quality assurance of eLearning content.
7. Providing support and guidance on eLearning module design.
8. Participating in training meetings and liaising with stakeholders.
9. Producing user guides, training scripts, and documentation.
