Reporting directly to the Procurement Director, the Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing long-term strategic plans. This includes managing and maintaining strategic supplier relationships for ingredients and raw materials. Exceptional relationship skills are essential, as the role requires driving value within the current supply base and ensuring a competitive advantage. Additionally, the role involves proactively building a co-manufacturing supply base to support the brand’s growth.
Candidates must possess a degree and have significant experience at a senior buyer level within the food industry, specifically in purchasing ingredients. A proven track record of strategic supplier management and experience working with third-party manufacturers is essential. Strong decision-making skills are a must, as is the ability to engage effectively with senior-level stakeholders.
