About the Role
Are you an experienced Chef ready to take your culinary skills to the next level? Join our vibrant Buffets team at Butlin’s Skegness! This is your chance to shine in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen where your passion for delivering exceptional food will truly make a difference.
As a key player in our buffet restaurants, you’ll work closely with the Junior Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations. Your leadership will ensure efficiency, uphold great standards, and maintain full compliance with food safety policies.
You'll set the bar high by maintaining a clean and organized workstation while mentoring and training our Commis Chefs. Your guidance will help them grow, all while keeping the kitchen running smoothly and safely.
This is a full-time, permanent role, offering 35 hours per week across 5 days, including weekends. Breakfast shifts run from 4am to 12pm, and dinner shifts from 11am to 7:30pm. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of our bustling kitchen.
For those over 18 relocating to the area, live-in accommodation may be available (subject to DBS).
About You
We’re on the lookout for chefs with proven experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen. If you’re a beginner or lack professional kitchen experience, this role may not be the right fit.
You should be hardworking, reliable, and determined, with a genuine commitment to high standards and a desire for continuous improvement. You understand how great food and teamwork enhance the guest experience, and you bring the energy and enthusiasm to help your team deliver it.
Holding a Level 3 Food Safety qualification, you’ll confidently lead others in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also manage margins, control costs, and maintain excellent hygiene, health, and safety practices.
Our chefs are a vital part of what keeps guests returning to Butlin’s, so we’re looking for someone who is not only skilled but also fun, team-spirited, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for every guest, every time.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of our cleaning team, you’ll add that extra sparkle to our guests’ holidays by keeping our resort clean, tidy, and pristine. If you’re ready to go the extra mile for our team and our guests, we’d love to welcome you aboard!
We are looking for candidates who:
* Can clean our main venues and toilets, using electrical and mechanical cleaning equipment (full training provided)
* Handle chemicals safely for cleaning venues (full training provided)
* Perform external road cleaning, including emptying general waste and recycling bins
* Move furniture to accommodate various activities within venues
* Clean and disinfect toilets and changing rooms
Normal Working Hours:
Evening shift: 5pm - 2am. Please note that due to lone working and the hours required for the role, applicants must be over 18 to apply. Start and finish times may vary depending on the break type.
