You do not need automotive experienceto be successful in this role?-?we will train?that, but?some form of customer services experience would be beneficial.? The Opportunity: As a Service Advisor you will be the?first point of contact for customers bringing their vehicle in for a service.? In this role you will?be:? Meeting and greeting customers;? Booking vehicles into the diary;? Ensuring the customer database is updated and accurate;? Support the profitability of the service department by using trained and professional sales techniques;? Ensuring customers are familiar with the variety of workshop services;? Accurately recording vehicle faults;? Liaising with the service technicians to keep track of vehicles progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready for customer collection on time;? Obtaining authority and payments for repairs. About You: You will have effective communication skills (verbal and written) in order to professionally interact with customers (face to face and over the phone);? Excellent organisation skills;? Able to manage your time effectively to prioritise your workload and meet tight deadlines;? Self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic.? A good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning;? Core skills in computing (essential), including web systems, email and use of excel, with a keen eye for detail;? Previous experience in a target driven role (desirable but not essential);?
