Supply Primary Teacher – Colchester
We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Supply Primary Teacher to work across primary schools in Colchester and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for teachers looking for flexible work, including day-to-day supply and short-term cover, across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
The Role:
1. Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure continuity of learning
2. Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
3. Follow school policies, including behaviour management and safeguarding
4. Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines
5. Support pupils of varying abilities and needs
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS–KS2)
8. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
9. Flexible, professional, and confident in new environments
10. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
