Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - The postholder will be responsible for co-ordinating and leading a team in the Universitys Admissions Office. They will support the efficient management and continuous improvement of the Admissions Office alongside the delivery of an exceptional applicant experience. They will be required to work proactively and collegially and demonstrate high levels of digital and systems competency and will support the development and implementation of the Universitys strategy, policies and processes for Admissions, as well as providing advice and support for schools and colleges. They will also work closely with colleagues across the University Faculties and Professional Services Departments to ensure consistent and compliant policies and processes. - ABOUT YOU - The postholder will be required to: - Be educated to Level 3 or higher, for example, A levels, BTEC Extended Diploma/Diploma/Extended Certificate, NVQ3 (or equivalent). - Have experience of supervising the administration of undergraduate and/or postgraduate admissions in a HE context, including an awareness of policies, processes and procedures relating to admissions. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of policies and procedures and provide evidence of making suggestions that have been successfully implemented.
