Are you looking to use your photography skills for social impact? We are holding a charity awards ceremony in London and are looking for a photographer to help us capture the evening.
What difference will you make?
Images captured at the CJA Awards will be used across our communications, including event write-ups, our annual impact report, website, and social media channels. These photographs will help us showcase the achievements of award winners and the power of the CJA Awards. By documenting the event, your work will help us engage future supporters and ensure the awards continue to celebrate and inspire change across the justice sector. All photography will be credited to the photographer.
What are we looking for?
Experience in event photography.
What will you be doing?
The Criminal Justice Alliance (CJA) is a charity that advocates for a fair and effective justice system. Since 2018, our CJA Awards have celebrated outstanding individuals and organisations across England and Wales who are working to transform criminal justice. We are seeking an experienced volunteer event photographer to help us capture this year's awards ceremony, taking place on Thursday, 27 November 2025, in London (17:30‑21:30). This event will bring together 100+ guests from across the criminal justice, journalism, film and creative sectors. Your photographs will help us tell the story of the evening and showcase the inspiring work of our nominees and winners.
Key responsibilities
* Capture candid and posed shots throughout the evening (guests, speakers, award winners, general atmosphere).
* Provide a curated selection of high-quality images for use across the CJA's website, social media, and promotional materials (you will be credited).
* Liaise with Holly, the CJA's Communications Manager ahead of the event to discuss logistics.
This is a great opportunity to contribute your skills to a national charity, and help amplify the achievements of those driving positive change in the justice system.
