We’re looking for a dynamic and inclusive Head of HR to lead our people strategy across our Retail division.
You'll partner with the CEO of Workplace and the leadership team to develop, implement, and embed a people strategy that supports the delivery of the business vision and objectives. Working closely with the HRD Retail, Retail Executive, and Retail HR team to develop and deliver the people strategy that enables the delivery of our business strategy.
What you'll be doing:
* Partner with the senior leadership team, providing proactive support and challenge on all aspects of people and organizational development that contribute to the strategic goals of the business.
* Understand the business (across Retail and Workplace), culturally, commercially, and strategically, to improve employee engagement, development, diversity and inclusion, talent and succession planning, L&D, performance management, and resource planning.
* Work with business leaders to shape the culture in line with L&G organizational purpose, values, and behaviors, ensuring these are meaningful and brought to life within the business.
* Ensure the business can attract, develop, and retain top talent in the market.
* Build workforce plans considering resource, structure, and capability to support growth and delivery.
* Lead the annual cycle of people activities, including pay reviews, performance calibration, and Voice surveys for Workplace, with oversight across Retail via HRBPs.
* Deputize for the HRD when appropriate.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in senior HR leadership roles within complex organizations.
* Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
* Expertise in organizational design, talent management, and culture change.
* Strategic thinker with analytical and conceptual skills.
* Practical knowledge of project management and HR data analysis.
* Passion for people development and current HR best practices.
* Ability to support diverse teams and business challenges.
