About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join a well-established law firm in Swansea that serves both local and national clients. If you are passionate about litigation, have previous experience in the public sector, and wish to develop your skills in a dynamic environment, this role is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing and drafting legal documents, including statements of claim, witness statements, and court forms.
* Conduct legal research and case law analysis to support litigation cases.
* Manage case files, ensuring all documents are filed, tracked, and updated.
* Communicate with clients, third parties, and experts to gather necessary case information.
* Support solicitors in case preparation and court presentations.
* Maintain accurate records of case progress, timelines, and correspondence.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in litigation and the public sector.
* Strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple cases and work efficiently under pressure.
* Good organizational and time-management skills.
* Proactive approach with keen attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications
* Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
* Experience with court procedures and filings.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
