I am working with a growing business seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial records in Rugby. This role supports accurate financial reporting across the group, ensuring compliance and clear visibility of income and expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records
- Record income, expenses, and bank transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards.
- Prepare and issue invoices and track payments.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, expense claims, and supplier payments.
- Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end accounts.
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements (e.g., VAT).
Skills & Experience:
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting software (e.g., Xero).
- Proficiency in Excel and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions.
- AAT certification or equivalent is desirable.
Job Details:
- Hours: Part-time, 22.5 – 30 hours per week.
- Location: In person (Rugby).
