Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, differentiated for a range of abilities
* Inspire students to develop confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment in mathematics
* Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, and assessment in line with curriculum requirements
* Contribute to the development of schemes of learning and share best practice within a supportive Maths department
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture where high expectations and respect are at the forefront
* Use effective behaviour management strategies to support a focused learning environment
* Support students’ progress and development, including preparation for GCSE examinations

What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Maths within a UK school setting
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the wider school community
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply – full induction and mentoring support will be provided.
