Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and delivery focused Project Manager to join North Sedgemoor Primary Care Network on a fixed term one year contract. This is a hands-on role where you will turn plans into action and help drive forward our bold transformation programme.

Reporting directly to the Network Director, and supported by a Service Development Lead, you will lead projects that span clinical, operational and digital change. You will plan, document and deliver improvements that make a tangible difference to patients and staff.

You do not need to come from a healthcare background, although experience in a regulated, complex or high risk environment will be a strong advantage. What matters most is that you are organised, resilient and able to keep projects moving from concept to delivery.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys making things happen. The role is initially fixed term for twelve months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent post as our programme of work grows.

Main duties of the job

* Lead and deliver multiple projects across clinical, operational and digital workstreams, directed by the Network Director
* Produce clear documentation including project plans, policies, procedures and reports
* Run structured meetings, record actions and keep stakeholders aligned and accountable
* Monitor progress, risks and issues, escalating promptly with solutions and recommendations
* Work across practices and partner organisations to embed change and ensure safe implementation
* Balance competing priorities in a complex, regulated environment and keep projects moving to time and quality

About Us

North Sedgemoor PCN is a partnership of five GP practices caring for around 50,000 people across Burnham on Sea, Brent, Berrow, Highbridge, Cheddar and Axbridge. We are clinically led and community focused, with a culture that values collaboration, curiosity and high standards.

We are now delivering a bold transformation plan under the leadership of our new Network Director. We are scaling our services significantly and redesigning our service model so that we can offer care that is modern, coordinated and sustainable. This is a very exciting time to join us, with opportunities to contribute to highly innovative and impactful services that will shape the way primary care is delivered in our communities.

You will be supported by a dedicated Service Development Lead and a friendly central team, alongside clinicians and managers from across the network. We are a learning organisation that welcomes new ideas and gives people the tools and support they need to succeed.
