Your new role As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the finance function across a range of responsibilities. You'll be involved in: Managing accounts receivable and resolving cash allocation issues Handling customer enquiries and supporting external reporting Assisting with audit preparation Supporting month-end reporting, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis Preparing reports and contributing to plant performance KPIs Conducting stock counts, adjustments, and investigations Assisting with GL reconciliations, working capital reports, and PSA preparation. Raising sundry and intercompany invoices and offering AP cover when needed What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role Strong understanding of accounts receivable and general ledger processes Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement What you'll get in return Up to £14.68 per hour Working hours 8:30-4:30 25 days holiday plus bank holidays What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
