About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will be involved in managing a 4-bed specialist short stay Home, caring for children aged 12 to 18 with complex needs, including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Mental Health Disorders, Substance Dependencies, and Learning Disabilities.
You will share in leadership responsibilities, including shift leading and participating in daily activities, while helping to develop staff by modeling high standards of professionalism.

The successful candidate will have:
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent
* GCSE English and Maths grades A-C
* At least one year’s experience in a responsibility role with children and young people in residential settings
* Understanding of the regulatory framework for residential services for children and young people
* Good understanding of the needs and risks of children in care
* Knowledge of trauma-informed practice
* Leadership experience in team settings
* Ability to build genuine, trusting relationships with young people while maintaining high standards
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to work shifts, including alternate weekends and sleep-ins
