We are excited to be opening Berkshire Manor, a beautiful purpose-built care home, this September, and we’re looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our founding team.
Berkshire Manor will offer residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care across 72 private en-suite rooms, with state-of-the-art facilities designed to deliver exceptional care and comfort.

Hours: 42 hours per week
Pay: £14.30 per hour
Contract: Full time
Shift: Days (including some weekends)

Responsibilities
* Leading a team of Health Care Assistants, acting as a positive role model and trusted point of support.
* Assisting with personal care, meals, and daily living tasks.
* Administering medication (following training and guidelines).
* Updating care plans and maintaining accurate records.
* Delivering the highest standard of person-centred care, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing for every resident.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic environment.
* Supporting family members and visitors.
Qualifications
* At least a minimum of 2 years’ experience in delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant.
* Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willing to sign up/ or working towards it).
* Trained in medication administration.
* Excellent people and customer service skills.
* Ability to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff.
* Time management skills to delegate tasks within a team.
* Excellent communication skills – verbal (within the team and to other external professionals) and writing (ability to write and maintain care plans) and digital skills.
* Caring attitude.
* Flexible and reliable.
