Location: Ullswater, Cumbria
Salary: £40,000-43,000 + Gratuities + Fantastic Benefits
** Note: For this role, we are looking for a highly experienced, hugely personable and passionate Food & Beverage Manager. Due to public transport restrictions, you will need to drive and have a car for this role **
Our client, a highly regarded hotel operator are looking for a hands-on, passionate and highly experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead and deliver high standards of service across their stunning quality operation. You will be joining an amazing people focused, forward-thinking company with a fantastic internal culture and lots of scope for training and development.
As the face of the Food & Beverage operation, not only will you have unforgettable presence and make a long-lasting impression in terms of service Reporting to the General Manager, you will also lead and manage an established Food & Beverage team consisting of restaurant managers, supervisors, team leaders and F&B Assistants, leading the team from the front as a passionate people manager helping the team thrive and develop further.
The operation has a contemporary vibe with a busy high volume restaurant and a large terrace which is very busy during the summer period.
The role:
* As Food & Beverage Manager you will deliver the very best in guest service, leading your team from the front with a key focus on training.
* Overseeing and planning all areas of F&B including Conference & Events.
* Responsible for stock, labour and expenditure controls in the F&B sector
* Accountable for business controls in your department.
The Candidate will have:
* Solid experience as Food & Beverage Manager in a quality hotel operation
* The highest levels of guest service, be a natural people person, great with customers and have a warm and friendly persona.
* A passion for training and developing your team with a focus on individual development.
* Great attention to detail and natural high standards and the ability to lead your team to do the same.
* Solid experience in a managerial role in the F&B sector Conference & Events experience is desirable.
