About the RoleAs an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, fault-finding and repair of plant equipment, with a strong focus on electrical and automation systems. You’ll play a key role in maintaining uptime and ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery.Key Responsibilities:
* Perform electrical and automation fault diagnosis and repair on production equipment
* Respond to breakdowns and carry out root cause analysis
* Complete preventative maintenance tasks and inspections
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
* Support continuous improvement and lean maintenance practices
* Provide technical training and support to operators, apprentices, and other team members
* Assist with Level I & II system troubleshooting, including PLC, HMI and servo control systems
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment
* Strong skills in automation and PLC fault-finding
* A proactive, results-driven individual with excellent problem-solving skills
* HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical / Automation / Multiskilled Engineering or significant industry experience
* Mechanical knowledge would be an advantage
