Employer Engagement Coordinator
Salary: £27,

Contract: Full Time Initial 12 Month Fixed Term

We are currently seeking an Employer Engagement Coordinator for our Justice team in the North East. To identify, engage and manage new relationships with public and private sector employer organisations with the aim of securing sustainable employment opportunities for participants
What Youll Be Doing:
1. Employability Support: support for participants to uncover job goals, promote job readiness and support with applications and interviews.
2. Disclosure Support: You will ensure each participant is able to effectively and confidently disclose their conviction to an employer and support them to write an effective supporting document.
3. Collaboration: Working closely with Hub staff, employers and partner organisations you will be responsible for arranging employer events and job fairs to create meaningful job opportunities for participants. You will also connect with training providers to identify programmes that support participants rehabilitation and employment prospects.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Building relationships with Employers, Employer groups, Participants, Local Authorities, DWP and other stakeholders as required.
What Were Looking For:
5. Account Management Skills: Possess a strong understanding of business development and account management, including within the apprenticeship sector and experience of working with a portfolio of new and existing employers
6. Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage credibly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
7. IT Skills: To accurately maintain relevant IT systems and produce accurate and timely management information
8. Labour market knowledge: Strong understanding of current labour market trends to ensure an effective solution focussed approach.
9. Travel: This role covers the North East so ability to travel is essential for the role.
Experience working in Employability or Justice is highly desirable.
Whilst we welcome those with lived experience, this role requires an enhanced DBS check. As we wait for background checks to be completed, youll have opportunities to shadow your colleagues, ask questions, and learn the ropes.
