The role involves ensuring all motor vehicle repairs, maintenance, and servicing are completed within specified timeframes, safely, effectively, and cost-efficiently, adhering to MOT standards. You will diagnose faults, determine the necessary repairs or replacements, and work towards obtaining a C1 category license if not already held, which the Trust will fund if you remain with the organization for two years.
Please note, the position requires participation in a 24-hour breakdown service, which may involve call-outs from home on a rota basis, including nights and weekends, with compensatory time off in accordance with the Working Time Directive.
