Role Title: Teaching Assistant
Salary: GBP13.68 : GBP14.00 per hour
Location: Southport: PR8, PR9
The Teaching Assistant role is a foundational position within our school, where you will directly support the learning journey of our students. You will assist teachers in delivering an inclusive curriculum, provide essential one:on:one and small group support, and help create a nurturing environment where every student can achieve their full potential.
Duties:
* Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
* Providing one:on:one and small group support to students.
* Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
* Supervising students during activities, break times, and school trips.
* Assisting with administrative tasks, such as creating displays and organising materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A proactive and solution:oriented approach.
* Sensitivity, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
