Job Overview
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and assistance in various settings. Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
* Support clients with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
* Driving to appointments, shopping and social functions which will include out of hours.
* Carrying out weekly home cleaning. Any and all duties to maintain independent living
Skills
* Experience in assisted living.
* Strong background in patient care with an understanding of the unique needs of disabled individuals.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams effectively.
* Ability to drive and transport clients when required.
* A caring attitude combined with patience and empathy towards individuals facing physical or cognitive challenges.
* Capability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of client support tasks. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others through dedicated support and care.

Pay: £12.81 per hour
