Role: Business Development Manager

Ideal Candidates will have 2 years + B2B Sales experience - ideally from a L&D, Digital Skills, Apprenticeships, Learning Services or Tech Recruitment background

Our client helps many of the world’s leading companies to build their tech and digital capabilities via their leading range of training courses, reskilling bootcamps, work-based learning programmes & apprenticeships programmes

Role:

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and expanding their offerings aimed at improving performance. Leveraging your expertise across L&D, you will identify and capitalize on opportunities to deliver a combination of learning solutions to current and new clients.

Duties:

1. Identify and liaise with key stakeholders/decision makers for both new & existing customers by telephone and email to maximise sales opportunities
2. Prospect for new customers whilst maintaining and growing your existing customer base to create and close sales opportunities
3. Input, analyse and interpret all relevant sales management information to prioritise workload and qualify sales opportunities
4. Prepare quotes and proposals for customers
5. Use relevant data to report on sales activity
6. Deliver high levels of customer service resulting in positive feedback from stakeholders
7. Constantly develop understanding of your product offering and sales techniques

About You:

1. Persuasive verbal and written communication style
2. Ability to plan and prioritise workload effectively to achieve targets
3. Recognise issues or opportunities requiring resolution through own initiative or escalation
4. Work under pressure while multi-tasking
5. High attention to detail
6. Track record of achieving sales targets
7. 2+ years B2B sales experience with stakeholders/decision makers
8. Experience working to tight deadlines with high accuracy
9. Experience resolving queries or offering solutions
10. Proficient in IT systems like CRM
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office
