* Position: Learning Support Assistant
* Location: Weston-Super-Mare
* Schedule: Morning’s Only, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
* Start Date: ASAP
Are you passionate about making a difference in a child’s learning journey? A primary school in Weston is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with an EHCP.
This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive team, helping children thrive academically and personally. The position is available immediately until the summer.
Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support for a child with an EHCP, addressing academic, emotional, and physical needs.
* Assist the teacher in creating a positive learning environment.
* Help develop and monitor personalized learning plans and educational goals.
* Implement interventions and activities to promote safe and effective learning behaviors.
* Supervise children during midday breaks, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience working with children with SEND or a keen interest in developing such skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
