About the Role:
Monarch Education is working with a school in Solihull seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND HLTA. The school supports young people aged 11-16 with eating disorders and ASC. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic environment, where you will support teachers in tailoring lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess students' progress regularly and identify areas needing further support or intervention.
2. Communicate with teachers and SENCo staff to ensure consistent support across subjects and activities.
3. Implement strategies to support students with emotional, behavioural, and social challenges in 1-1 or group settings.
4. Assist in delivering active and engaging lessons.
Requirements:
* Experience working with SEN students.
* Experience with eating disorders and anxiety.
* Strong references demonstrating this experience.
