Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor
Start Date: 21st August 2025
Contract: Fixed term until Friday 27th March 2026 initially
Roles: Teaching Assistant: Grade 6 £25,188 - £25,590 pa pro rata (£13.05- £13.25 p/h)19hrs 50 mins per week 9.30am – 3pm Monday – Thursday & 9.30am – 2.30pm Friday Midday Supervisor: Grade 4 £24,033 - £24,222 pa pro rata (£12.45- £12.55 p/h) 1 hour per week Closing Date: Monday 9th June at 12noon
Interview Date: Tuesday 17th June

Support staff are an integral part of our school and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, hardworking, enthusiastic, creative and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our Year 2 team.
The Teaching Assistant role is to provide 1:1 support in our Year 2 class. You will work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo to assist with teaching and learning.
The Midday Supervisor role will be focused around the supervision of the child within the playground environment. Ensuring free play and games are suitable and helping develop social relationships with peers.
The successful candidate will:
• Be able to support the pupil inside and outside the classroom to be the best they can be

• Have excellent communication abilities?
• Have the ability to work using their own initiative.
• Be flexible and positive with a good sense of humour.
• Have the highest expectations for all our children and their futures.
• Be willing to undertake any necessary training for the role.
Previous experience of working in a school environment or recent relevant child-based role is desirable, training can be provided for the successful candidate.
