Job Opportunity – Children’s Residential Child Care Worker / Support Worker
We are currently supporting an outstanding provider of children’s services in their search for a Residential Child Care Worker / Support Worker. Join a rewarding team in Lancashire with the following permanent opportunity:
Available Role:
* Residential Child Care Worker / Support Worker – Tarleton
* Location: Children’s Residential Home, Tarleton
* Experience Preferred: 6–12 months’ experience within a children’s residential setting. Level 3 or 4 Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent (preferred or willing to work towards). Full UK manual driving licence (preferred).
* Role Overview: Support young people aged 8–17 from complex backgrounds with challenging behaviour and emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD) on a 1:1 or 2:1 staffing ratio. Provide high-standard care, attending to practical, physical, and emotional needs using a systemic therapeutic approach rooted in attachment theory. Build trusting relationships with children and collaborate with outside agencies to ensure positive outcomes. Safeguard young people and contribute to a loving, stable environment. Note: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as the provider does not hold a sponsorship licence.
* Salary & Benefits: £32,929.60 - £35,280 plus £60 sleep-in rate (2 on, 4 off shift pattern).
