Position: Workshop Technician Location: Ellesmere Port Hours: Monday - Friday Days Salary: Up to £30,000p/a DOE The Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the effective operations of the service and rentals division by ensuring that equipment is properly tested, maintained, and functional. The role involves a variety of responsibilities related to inventory management, equipment preparation, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a clean and organised shop environment. Key Responsibilities: Equipment Preparation and Maintenance: Preparing equipment for field services, ensuring it is clean and in good working order, and maintaining detailed records of maintenance and repairs. Inventory Management: Tracking equipment status, managing shipping and receiving, and updating asset tracking systems. Tool Repair Coordination: Collaborating with third-party vendors for tool repairs and maintaining records of all tools and equipment. Organisation and Cleanliness: Ensuring the shop is organised and presentable, while also conducting regular maintenance of vehicles and shop equipment.Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong mechanical background.
