Maintenance Technician – Day Shift Havant We're looking for askilled Maintenance Technicianto join our Maintenance Department in Havant, working aday shift and reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in keeping our production equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably - helping the site achieve its KPIs and continuous improvement goals.
The Role As a Maintenance Technician, You Will
* Repair and maintain site production equipment in a safe, compliant manner
* Maximise equipment availability to support production and site KPIs
* Maintain equipment throughout its full lifecycle in line with OEM recommendations
* Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement effective, long-term solutions
* Work proactively with peers, customers, and support teams to improve reliability and performance
* Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives
Key Responsibilities
1. Respond to breakdowns and systematically diagnose and resolve faults
2. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
3. Source parts, supplies, and repair items as required
4. Identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, reliability, and robustness
5. Collaborate with Continuous Improvement and Process Engineering to improve OEE, cost efficiency, and site KPIs
