At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Specialist who will be part of the on‑site C‑17 Field Operations Team supporting the Royal Air Force customer at RAF Brize Norton.
Responsibilities
* Use applications such as TCMax, GOLDEsp, WoW, MJDI, PUBLOG, Haystack, C17 Technical Orders, and cargo tracking.
* Stock, store, and issue all C-17 unique managed and RAF owned material including parts sourced from the Defence Logistics Agency, Air Mobility Command, repairables, consumables, and hazardous fuels, lubricants, and associated products (FLAP).
* Process, issue and receive high volume of hand tools, test equipment, and FLAP.
* Check tool kits for serviceability and replace or demand new tools as required.
* Replenish consumable tool kits as required.
* Loan tools in and out of tool stores to other Brize Norton Units.
* Undertake a 100% tool check at the start and finish of every shift.
* Support maintenance teams with part issues and face‑to‑face queries.
* Perform physical inventory management and control, conduct large volume stock‑taking, reporting, shelf‑life reviews, scrapping dispositions, lead and implement cycle‑count plans, resolve inventory accuracy errors and undertake inventory grief resolution.
* Provide demand and requisition status for all C‑17 unique managed parts and customer‑owned parts defined by the customer.
* Receive parts into a UK customs warehousing environment.
* Build, report and manage local UK customs warehousing logistical transaction documents and create and lead import/export shipping documentation.
* Induct repairable assets and components into the repair cycle.
* Package and track parts for local and global movements.
* Operate forklift counterbalance, forklift reach truck, and company van including collection of parts on site from main entrance.
* Provide AOG support locally and globally.
* Use warehouse MHE material handling equipment safely and implement manual handling for a wide variety of parts/equipment.
* Support periodic Boeing, customer, and regulatory warehouse quality and safety audits.
Key Requirements
* Legal authorization: must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
* Ability to obtain UK security clearance (SC).
* Active UK driving licence.
* Professional forklift counterbalance and reach truck licences (preferred).
* Knowledge of TCMax, GOLDEsp supply application, Warehouse on Web supply application, Joint Deployed Inventory, PUBLOG/HAYSTACK part research, C‑17 Technical Orders, MILSTRIP ordering process, cargo tracking, and Foreign Military Sales supply processes.
* Understanding of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations.
* Understanding of Foreign Object Damage / Debris and its airworthiness implications.
* Knowledge of the Manual of Airworthiness Maintenance processes and aviation engineering standing orders.
* Shift work experience and customer‑facing on‑site capabilities.
Shift
Shift worker (United Kingdom) – shift work attracts a shift allowance on top of the base salary to compensate for this type of work.
Relocation
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
