Sunday Shop Supervisor – Shirley Store
Age UK is recruiting a Sunday Shop Supervisor to provide a high‑quality retail service and support our fund‑raising mission.
Responsibilities
* Run the shop on Sundays, including opening, closing and cash handling.
* Manage and display stock, ensuring the shop looks attractive.
* Maintain the appearance of the shop and maximise sales.
* Promote Gift Aid to customers.
* Health & safety and fire regulation compliance.
* Handle up to 10 kg bags of stock.
Qualifications
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Literate and numerate.
* Effective team player.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of stock.
* Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Fire regulations.
* Previous retail shop experience or management experience is an advantage.
* Flexible approach to work is essential.
