Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the food and beverage industry, ensuring a welcoming experience for all customers. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
* Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
* Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system, providing correct change and receipts.
* Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
* Uphold health and safety regulations related to food handling and hygiene practices.
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner and addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
* Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light bites when required.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the industry.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is preferred.
* Experience in serving customers efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude is advantageous.
* Basic maths skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
* Strong time management skills are necessary to manage busy periods effectively and ensure timely service delivery.
