The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our care home. Your work will directly support the wellbeing, dignity, and comfort of our residents.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), working 7:00am – 4:00pm, including alternate weekend working.
Please note: We are not offering visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, offices, and staff facilities
* Vacuum, mop, dust, polish, and sanitise surfaces
* Follow infection control and health & safety procedures
* Safely use and store cleaning products in line with COSHH guidelines
* Support laundry and linen services
* Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
* Work respectfully within residents' personal spaces
Requirements
Essential:
* Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
* Good understanding of hygiene and health & safety standards
* Strong attention to detail
* Reliable and punctual
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
* Experience in a care home, healthcare, hotel, or commercial cleaning environment
* Knowledge of infection prevention and control
