Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care. Duties
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
* Develop and maintain care plans tailored to individual client needs.
* Support clients in social activities and encourage their independence.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to senior staff.
* Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
* Uphold the dignity and respect of all clients at all times.
Experience
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
* A good command of English is required for effective communication with clients and team members.
* Proficiency in IT skills for maintaining records and accessing care plans is beneficial.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
