Our client requires an experienced Senior Highway Engineer for a busy design team in Central London. The existing team is highly motivated and committed to the delivery of successful projects an ethos that has led to a rapidly expanding workload. The role will be varied and all-encompassing and will include a mix of hands-on highways design work and technical support to other members of the in-house design team. Candidates must have good, detailed design experience with a solid background on highway design projects. Role Involves the following: The delivery of multidisciplinary projects, balancing demands and priorities, whilst reviewing highways infrastructure design, from project proposition through to construction. Preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, specification, and schedules. Providing construction support to construction team. Supervising and overseeing the work of engineers and graduatesCandidate specification: Relevant 1st Degree or HND/HNC (preferably in engineering) or equivalent qualifications Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with a relevant professional institution such as ICE or CIHT (or equivalent) or suitable relevant experience.
