* Excellent communication skills – listening is as important as talking in our industry
* Curiosity – a desire to learn about our customers, our products, and our new technologies
* Confidence – a personality that will welcome and engage our customers
* An eye for detail – to capture information accurately, follow processes and deliver an excellent customer experience
* Energy – to motivate yourself, enthuse others and achieve performance targets

As one of the leading Toyota dealerships in the UK, we are passionate about ensuring our customers are always put first every day, everywhere.

The Apprentice Service & Maintenance Technician Program offers you the opportunity to develop your career with one of the world's most prestigious companies and work alongside some of Britain's brightest young talent, as well as the chance to "earn while you learn". Toyota is the highest ranked Automotive Brand in the world and invests heavily in Research & Development, leading in Hybrid engine technology and innovation.

While working at the dealership, training is delivered on a residential block release basis at the ProVQ Training Centre in Shrewsbury and the Toyota/Lexus Academy in Burnaston, Derbyshire. The program targets high-caliber individuals like you, who may have recently completed their education and are seeking the first step in a professional automotive career. Upon successful completion, you will earn the Apprenticeship Standard Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) Level 3 qualification.

You will earn from Day 1, receive a competitive annual salary, and upon graduation, enjoy a benefits package and performance-related bonuses.

To apply, you must have:

* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* GCSE Maths & English, and IT skills (desirable)

Toyota values its team and customer service, so why not join us?

- Participating fully in all scheduled activities including training at the Toyota Academy in Burnaston, Derby, and the Atcham Training Centre in Shrewsbury.

- Keeping all your learning activities up to date and preparing for learner reviews with your Manager, Mentor & Learning & Development Advisor.

- Carrying out foundational tasks common to all service and repair procedures.

- Contributing to a safe and efficient workshop environment.

- Accessing information such as wiring diagrams, technical data, and vehicle repair information.

- Participating in activities that promote the dealership's profile, such as community involvement and marketing efforts.

Person Specification:

This role requires professionalism, a smart personal appearance, and high standards of communication.

Vehicles are complex, and while no formal qualifications are required, you must be literate, numerate, eager to learn, and interested in vehicle technology.

You should be:

* Technically minded
* Practical
* Logical
* A good listener
* Ability to follow instructions
* Willing to study
