My client operates across multiple categories, being a leading brand in some. They are recognised and loved globally, with ambitions to continue to grow across the UK. The ASDA/Co-op SNAM will have responsibility for both private label and branded goods.
Job Description
3. Develop and expand strategic relationships across your account base, engaging with buyers and key decision-makers
4. Gain deep insight into each account's strategy and operations to identify growth opportunities
5. Maintain strong knowledge of the company business model, including branded and private label propositions
6. Create and execute tailored commercial plans to drive Gross Sales Value (GSV) and volume growth
7. Lead negotiations and close deals that align with commercial objectives and financial constraints
8. Align cross-functional teams (supply, marketing, finance, NPD, operations) to deliver unified commercial execution
9. Challenge internal and external norms to drive smarter, faster decision-making
10. Translate strategic thinking into hands-on execution with measurable results
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) should have:
11. Proven experience managing national grocery accounts (with experience on ASDA preferred)
12. A deep understanding of private label as well as branded sales
13. A strong understanding of the current grocery landscape and trends
14. Excellent negotiation and communication skills
15. The ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies
16. A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales and profitability targets
17. Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions
18. Able to be in London 3 days a week
