Job Description
Contracts Manager (Rail)
To manage all aspects of the railway contract by leading the team and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the contract key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) are met, thereby contributing to the company's profitability.
* Manage rail Hard FM services contract ensuring all KPIs and SLAs are met
* Run daily reports to monitor team performance and ensure corrective actions if SLAs and KPIs are not met
* Prepare the client period end report in the agreed format and timescale, along with any ad hoc reports requested by the client
* Chair client meetings and prepare action plans arising from those meetings
* Provide leadership and coaching to the team to ensure cohesive working across all disciplines from Helpdesk to multi-skilled operatives
* Check and submit payment applications via Asset-Pro/Client CAFM systems within 14 working days after the four-week period
* Participate in the out-of-hours escalation process
* Oversee periodic audits with the client
* Generate enquiries, prepare tenders, and submit bids for work
* Develop new business from existing clients and attract new clients
* Collaborate with Finance to prepare project cash flows and profitability reports
* Monitor site health & safety and quality of work
* Prepare scope of works and subcontract documentation
* Utilize database and spreadsheet packages to prepare job reports
* Follow HBS gated project management processes and complete monthly reports for the Contract Director
* Identify and discuss ways to improve contract delivery with senior managers
Qualifications:
* PTS qualified (Personal Track Safety)
* Full UK Driving License
* Recognized Business Qualification (Desirable)
Proven Experience:
* Contract management experience in the Rail industry
* Senior role experience
* Facilities management sector experience
* Delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specification
* Proficient in MS Office and AssetPro
