Job title: Visiting Lecturers in Haematology & Transfusion Science
Salary: £55 per hour
The University of Roehampton is seeking to appoint Visiting Lecturers to join our Life Sciences team to teach on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in haematology, haematological malignancies, and transfusion science. The roles involve leading and delivering modules, supporting student projects, and providing pastoral care.
We employ a blended learning approach, combining lectures, seminars, practical sessions, and student-led discussions. Our curriculum emphasizes employability and skills through experiential learning and extended activities beyond contact hours. Most teaching resources are already established.
Applicants should have experience with blended teaching methods, student support, and assessment at the undergraduate level. Industry experience and familiarity with online learning are desirable. We seek individuals who are student-focused, possess excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, and can work flexibly.

The pay rate is £55 per hour, which covers contact time, preparation, marking, and annual leave. Additional marking, moderation, and content development are paid at £25.96 per hour, with prior agreement from a Dean or Deputy Dean.
