Elemental Energies are looking for a creative and proactive Communications & Marketing Coordinator to help shape and deliver our internal and external communications strategy. This role plays a key part in building brand awareness, engaging employees, and supporting business growth through effective campaigns and storytelling.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This is a varied role requiring creative thinking, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis with flexible working arrangements available for the right candidate.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Support the planning, creation, and delivery of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event channels.
* Support the management of company social media accounts by creating and scheduling engaging content aligned with brand tone and objectives.
* Draft and edit internal and external communications including newsletters, press releases, case studies, and website content.
* Take the lead in coordinating events, conferences, and exhibitions, ensuring smooth delivery and consistent branding.
* Collaborate with business development and project teams to produce marketing collateral, capability statements, and client-facing materials.
* Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics, providing insights to refine future activity.
* Ensure consistent brand identity across all platforms and materials.


Person Specification:


Knowledge & Qualifications:

* Degree (or equivalent experience) in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline.
* Strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms and how to tailor content for each.
* Understanding of brand management and corporate communications principles.
* Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with an ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
* Event planning and co-ordination experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams).
* Experience with design and content tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), or equivalent.
* Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp, HubSpot) (desirable)
* Knowledge of marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics) and the ability to report on campaign performance (desirable)
* Awareness of industry trends in communications and digital marketing, particularly within the energy or engineering sectors (desirable)


Skills:

* Previous experience in communications, marketing, or a related role, ideally within the energy or professional services sector.
* Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (LinkedIn, WordPress, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, etc.).
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Creative mindset, with a proactive and collaborative approach.


Experience:

* Experience in a marketing or communications role.
