Business Development Manager – Engineering Contracts
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to identify and secure new contract business across the UK engineering sector, building relationships with key automotive, electric vehicle, and driverless technology clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate and qualify new client leads through proactive outreach and networking.
* Develop consultative proposals that address clients’ talent attraction challenges.
* Negotiate and close agreements, ensuring successful placement of engineering consultants.
* Collaborate with specialist engineers to understand technical and role‑specific requirements.
* Maintain a robust pipeline and prioritize workload independently.
* Represent the company in meetings with senior stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
* Proven track record in business development or recruitment within engineering or related sectors.
* Experience building and retaining new client relationships.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and drive results with a high degree of ownership.
* Experience in a consultative client‑facing role is desirable.
* The role is for a resident within the UK; sponsorship of work permits is not provided.
