The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a passionate and innovative Lecturer in Photography to join our Digital and Creative Innovation (DACI) team. This is an exciting fixed-term opportunity (until July ) to shape the next generation of creative talent while contributing to a dynamic and forward-thinking academic community.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Lecturer in Photography, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment. Your main duties will involve:
3. Delivering and managing inclusive learning, teaching, and assessment in photography to a high standard.
4. Contributing to curriculum design, development, and quality improvement to enhance the student experience.
5. Supporting student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression through tailored guidance and mentoring.
6. Using digital and face-to-face teaching methods (including VLE and other systems) to drive student success.
7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of photography, creative practice, and relevant pedagogies.
8. Contributing to the wider academic community through research, scholarship, and professional practice.
