An exciting opportunity to undertake a qualification whilst gaining on the job experience and development, with the aim to work towards becoming a HR&OD Officer of the future.
This role will require you to be part of the HR & OD team to undertake a comprehensive range of human resources activities within HR & OD Services. This will include providing HR&OD advice and guidance across all service areas to employees and managers working as part of the wider HR & OD team, researching and resolving employment/contractual related matters as required. This role will have a particular lead on supporting the Social Care department and supporting recruitment and retention improvements, alongside the council wide HR&OD service.
The post holder will be expected to work to an allocated and varied workload, but be able to work flexibly and re-prioritise their work according to deadlines.
The post holder will be expected to demonstrate an excellent customer focus approach, have good problem solving skills and be able to work as part of a team.
